These Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bars offer a mouthwatering blend of smooth chocolate and creamy peanut butter, enhanced by the crunchy texture of CauliPuffs. The recipe is straightforward, requiring no baking, and allows for customization with optional ingredients like maple syrup for added sweetness and chopped peanuts for extra crunch. Indulge in this layered dessert that’s both satisfying and uniquely delicious.

Ingredients

1 cup dark / semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup peanut butter
2 small bags of Salt and Pepper CauliPuffs
Maple syrup as required (optional)
Peanuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

Add ½ cup chocolate into a heat-proof bowl and melt over a double-boiler or in the microwave (keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t burn!). Then add in 4 tbsp peanut butter and mix well.
Break the CauliPuffs into smaller pieces and fold them into the chocolate-peanut butter mixture.
Press the mixture down into a loaf tin lined with baking paper and freeze for 10 minutes.
Pour and spread the remaining peanut butter over the base and return to the freezer for another 30 minutes. Optionally, you can add maple syrup to it to make it more sweeter. If the peanut butter is not runny enough, add coconut oil to it, 1 tbsp at a time, until it is easier to spread evenly over the base.
Melt the remaining ½ cup chocolate over a double-boiler or in the microwave and pour on top of the set peanut butter layer and refrigerate until the chocolate is set. Optionally, you can fold in some chopped peanuts in the melted chocolate for an extra crunch.
Slice into squares and enjoy!
