Prop 65 is a California law that requires businesses to notify consumers about potential exposure to certain naturally occurring and man-made chemicals, even at trace levels significantly lower than what’s considered harmful by federal standards.
Some of the ingredients we use, grow in soil that may contain naturally occurring minerals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium and more.
These trace amounts are not added during processing or manufacturing, but can be absorbed by crops from the earth as part of their natural growth. Even organic farming practices can’t completely eliminate this risk.
We regularly test our products to ensure they meet FDA and industry safety standards. The Prop 65 label is not a reflection of poor quality or unsafe ingredients—it’s about compliance and transparency. We believe you deserve to be informed, and we’re committed to full honesty about everything we put into our snacks.
