Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes

  • ½ tbsp garlic powder

  • ½ tbsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 2 tsp pepper

  • Salt to taste

  • 4 tbsp corn starch

  • Parsley

  • Mozzarella cheese

  • Honey BBQ CauliPuffs, crushed

  • Oil for frying

  • Pretzel sticks

Directions

  1. Boil the potatoes until they are fork tender and mash them. In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. Take a small portion of the potato mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place cheese in the center and mold the potato mixture around it, shaping it into a ball. Continue until all potato balls have cheese stuffing in the center. Use a knife/spatula to make shallow cuts from top to bottom, creating 6-8 pumpkin-like lines. Refrigerate them for 30 minutes to firm up and hold the shape.

  3. Roll them in crushed Honey BBQ CauliPuffs until well coated for extra crispy texture and flavor. Use the knife or spatula to refine the grooves and adjust the shape as needed.

  4. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Fry the pumpkin shaped cheese stuffed potato balls until they are golden brown and crispy. Make sure to turn them for even frying. Remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. For the stem, attach pretzel sticks to the top by pressing it gently.
